CLASS SCHEDULE FOR 2008-2009 (also see SCHOOL HOLIDAY CAMPS)

The Vinings School of Art offers courses in Fine Arts (Drawing, Painting, Sculpture), Language
Arts/Spanish & French, and Dramatic Arts/Acting for Kids, and Music Theory/Learning Piano.
Students may take a single session Art Class at our drop-in rates based on availability or sign up for a
monthly class or two back to back classes. Our schedule runs in synch with another school, The
Studio Atlanta Dance, which is located a few doors down in the same building. You can arrange to
have your child escorted to either a dance class or to Kumon, also located in Ivy Walk.

Weekday Mornings Toddler Art various classes, ages 2 - 4 years
Parents are welcome to participate with their child, but are not required to stay.

Adult Beginning Spanish
Beginner class starts 9/22 $144 for eight 90-min. class limit 6 students

PROGRAMS

We offer the following options for participation in our program

Monthly Classes: We offer one and two hour classes. These classes must be prepaid during the first
week of the month.

Single Session Art Class Drop-In: You may call our school to see if there is space available, or you
may come by in person about 10 minutes before a class to enroll in a single session. If capacity is
available, your child might be able to join a class at a slightly higher rate than the monthly fee.

Special Courses: For special programs such as adult Spanish, we offer fixed prices for the full course.

POLICIES

Make up policy: For students in a monthly Fine Arts or Spanish class, we allow two make-up sessions
per month. However, once you have scheduled the make-up, we are unable to schedule other
make-ups or make-ups for missed make-up sessions! In order to schedule a make-up session, you
must call at least 30 minutes before the class you are scheduled to attend begins. Make-ups must be
done within 30 days of the missed session.

Class end time: Our classes finish about 5 minutes before the hour. At this time, students can store
unfinished art work, gather art work to be taken home, and help collect the supplies that they used
during class. A late fee will be charged for parents that do not pick up their children on time. Children
must be picked up during the last 5 minutes of the class, and no later than on the hour.

Refunds: All student fees are non-refundable.

Spanish, weekly 1 hour class:

Art for Teens and Art for Adults Course (includes art supplies)
7 sessions of 1 ½ hour classes, $154 for the entire course

Adult Spanish Course
8 sessions of 1 ½ hour classes, $144 for the entire course

Drama: Children's Characters & Acting For Kids Course
4 sessions of 1 hour classes, $60 per every 4 classes

Music/Piano: limit 4 students of a similar age to each class
4 sessions of 1 hour classes, $60 per every 4 classes

We charge a monthly fee in Art or in Spanish when there are at least 4 classes in the month. If there
are 3 classes in a given month due to holidays, the fee is 75% of the regular monthly rate. Accordingly,
for months with 5 weeks or 5 classes, there is an additional charge. There is a “once-in-a-lifetime”
$10.00 registration fee for each new student that has not taken classes before to sign up for a monthly
program. The student’s contact information will be entered into our database and filed. If you are paying
the one-time single session art class drop-in rate, we do not charge for registration until you decide to
enroll in a monthly class at the lower class price.

METHODS OF PAYMENT

We accept debit cards and VISA and Mastercard credit cards, as well as personal checks. For
bounced checks we charge a fee of $20 for the returned check in addition to the amount owed.
