Children's Spanish for age 2 - 15 with 8 different levels

We started our Spanish/Language Arts program in 2006 and have more classes now than ever before.

Our art school is one of the few facilities that offer various levels of Spanish classes for children. It's time to move beyond "Hola" and ask for information about our program!

From beginning level Spanish classes to classes for students that already know some Spanish, we have something for everyone.

We have three Spanish instructors, who are all university educated, have full time teaching experience and are native speakers of Spanish. Each class is one hour in duration.

toddler spanish

  • Entry level Spanish class for students age 2-4 year old
  • Interactive class with pictures, objects, felt boards, puppets, games, music and songs to make learning fun
  • Students learn by listening, repeating, and participating

preschool prek spanish

  • Entry level for students age 3-5 years old
  • Interactive class with pictures, objects, felt boards, puppets, games, music and songs to make learning fun
  • Learn by listening, repeating, and participating

level 1 spanish

  • Entry level Spanish class for students in elementary school grades
  • Class is interactive, but also uses a book, so students must have some reading capability to be in this class
  • Students learn to speak, read and write in Spanish words and phrases

level 2 spanish

  • Either have completed the level 1 class, or have had some previous Spanish study and know some basic words
  • Interactive class, but also uses a book, so students must have some reading capability
  • Learn to speak, read and write in Spanish
  • Learn to read, write and speak simple, complete sentences in Spanish

level 3 and 4 spanish

  • Completed the level 2 class, or who already have had some previous Spanish study and know some basic Spanish word and phrases
  • Interactive class, but also uses a children’s Spanish level 3 book (we skip the level 4 book)
  • Learn to speak, read and write in Spanish
  • Learn to read, write and speak more complex sentences in Spanish

level 5 spanish

  • Completed the level 3 & 4 class, or who already have some previous Spanish study and know how to read and write a simple sentence in Spanish
  • Interactive class, but also uses a children’s Spanish level 5 book
  • Learn to speak, read and write in Spanish
  • Learn to read, write and speak more complex sentences in Spanish
  • Begin to study the irregular parts of Spanish grammar in this class

level 6 spanish

  • Either completed the level 5 class, or have some previous Spanish study and know how to read, write, and speak simple sentences in Spanish
  • Uses a Spanish text book that is currently used 7th, 8th, or 9th grades at some private schools and some public schools
  • Students DO NOT need to be in middle school or high school to do this class, because placement in this class is based on their capability

level 7 spanish

  • Either completed the level 6 class, or who already have had some previous Spanish study and know how to read, write and speak in Spanish
  • Uses a Spanish text book that is currently used in 8th, 9th. 10th grades at some private schools and some public schools
  • Students DO NOT need to be in middle school or high school to do this class, because placement in this class is based on their capability
  • Learn more advanced Spanish grammar
  • Learn to read, write and speak at this level of the Spanish language
  • Great for high schoolers that need extra practice in high school Spanish
